Midwest Management is owned and operated by Rocky Pintozzi, his wife Karen, and his sisters Linda August and M.J. Stacy.

President

Rocky is a second-generation hotelier, having been brought up in the business by his mother, Hazel Pintozzi, who managed multiple hotel properties during his lifetime. In 1987, Rocky and Hazel partnered to form Midwest Management, Inc.

Rocky has a passion for both the hotel business and the city of Aurora. He has served on the boards of directors for organizations like Aurora Downtown and Seize the Future, and he has been instrumental in the revitalization of downtown Aurora.

He also served for several years on the board of directors for the Aurora Area Convention & Visitors Bureau, where he was elected as vice president and then president.

Rocky is the former chairman of the Executive Committee for the Choice Hotels Owners Council, and serves on Aurora's RiverEdge Park Commission and RiverEdge Park Bridge Commission, and is a member of the Aurora Regional Chamber of Commerce.

Karen Pintozzi
Secretary & Chief Financial Officer

Rocky's wife, Karen, acts as secretary of the company's board of directors and handles the important role of taking care of the company's finances.

Linda L. August
Director of Human Resources & Procurement

Rocky's sister, Linda August, also grew up with hotel management in her blood. She is the director of staffing and human resources. In addition, she oversees the procurement of goods and services for the corporation and its properties.
